Several
years ago, Todd was at a college party in
Durango, Colorado. He was enjoying his favorite
Durango-crafted kegged beverage. Todd was
distracted and disturbed by the way the keg
was being kept cold. Not only was the ice
melting and making a mess, it was also disappointing
to see such a great keg of beer displayed
half afloat, in an old trashcan. Todd thought
to himself, trash cans are meant for trash
not for delicious beverages. They have coozies
for bottles and cans, why not for kegs? With
the combination of Keg Tux Ice™ sheets
and our specially formulated and designed
neoprene, Keg Tux was born.
The idea started out as a college project
and effective prototypes were made. There
were plenty of eager volunteers in the testing
of these products. Todd and his friends have
